Main Goal: Help improve the process of bringing back peace to the NW and SW Regions of Cameroon.
In order to help restore peace in the North and South West Regions of Cameroon COEDEM organises as well as participates in events, campaigns and workshops on peace building and conflict resolution.
Activities have ranged from participation in workshops organized by the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon under the banner of the Christian Women Fellowship, reaching out to various community leaders and groups in rural areas, to attending international summits geared towards finding lasting solutions to the current regional crises.
Many community groups and leaders, especially women who are identified and registered by the COEDEM need effective training on peace building.
COEDEM's impact in this area is greatly restrained by inadequate training materials, logistics resources, and available financing.
