COEDEM met baby Blessing some five years ago with a cleft palate weighing 1.8kg at the age of 9 months. Blessing is now an adorable growing child going to primary one.

This annual program is aimed at facilitating back to school activities for the less privileged, in the struggle to regain lost ground due to education gaps resulting from armed conflicts in the NW and SW Regions of Cameroon.
Physically challenged or disabled children have often been looked at in the society as outcasts and have been stigmatized. This has caused them trauma and psychological torture. In many cases, this has lead to death, either because of improper care or improper nutrition.
Main Goal: Help improve the process of bringing back peace to the NW and SW Regions of Cameroon.
In order to help restore peace in the North and South West Regions of Cameroon COEDEM organises as well as participates in events, campaigns and workshops on peace building and conflict resolution.
Program outcome: Over 500 women impacted so far.
The ongoing armed conflict, socio-economic and political crises in local communities in the NW and SW regions of Cameroon, coupled with the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in many families and displaced persons going for days or weeks without a good balanced diet.
The back bone of any economy is education. The leaders of tomorrow are children today. Their education is crucial. However, due to the current armed conflict in the Cameroon Anglophone regions, some children and youth have not been able to attend school for the past FIVE YEARS AND COUNTING!
